Passion for fashion
With a mother addicted to stilettos and a father who -believe it or not, quite fancied long shopping sprees,
I guess fashion has always been an important part of my life.
However, there was one designer who literally made me fall in love with fashion and develop a passion for fashion -
Gianni Versace and his 1994 Spring/Summer collection. I was six years old at the time and I took it upon myself
to revamp my dolls' wardrobe by drawing gold medusa on their dresses! And of course, in true fashionista style,
my dolls got renamed after my favorite models - Naomi, Cindy, Claudia and Karen.
Twelve years later, having given up on my rather modest goal of being the next Naomi Campbell,
I made my debut in the fashion world as a fashion/entertainment journalist for a Belgian women magazine
called Lou (Editions Ciné-Revue).
After an internship in the Media department of ELLE Belgique and numerous fashion collaborations
with a Congolese newspaper (La Reconstruction, part of Le Soft International ),
I finally discovered the PR world to its full extent during an internship at Bureau Löffler.
In October 2011, freshly out of University with a degree in Journalism and Interactive Communications,
Bureau Löffler hired me as Community Manager and and the luxury department store Francis Ferent
offered me to be the Brand and Communication Coordinator for all their stores.
From photo shoot for Justeve to content creation for Cassis, Paprika, Esprit Uccle and Oblic,
I am offering a service whereby brand can further develop their awareness and acquisition strategy.
